Preparatory Course D is a 1 year and 9 month course designed for people who wish to enroll into university or vocational schools in Japan.
In the first year, not only will you study Japanese, but you will also learn about to manage your daily life in Japan, decide what you want to do in the future, search for a university or vocational school that suits you and make a plan for your future.
In the remaining 9 months, you will study very hard for JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) and other entrance exams for the institute you desire to enroll in.
Your time at Kamiyama Gakuin Japanese Language School will be very busy, but even in daily life there are enough chances to enjoy the unique culture and habits of Nagoya, Japan.

Class times:Monday – Thursday 8:40 – 14:20
Friday      8:40 – 11:30

Students in this course will join students who started in April.
In order to follow the classes smoothly, JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test)N4 Level or above is strongly recommended.
**The Application fee (¥20,000) is not included in the above school fees.

Ensure that you meet the following

Admission requirements

  • Aged over 18 and have completed at least 12 years of formal education and wish to enroll into university or vocational school
  • Have a clear purpose for studying Japanese and have fundamental academic skills to study at a higher educational institution in Japan
  • Able to proof they have JLPT N5 Level (or a JTEST score of 250 or above, NAT-TEST Level 5 etc.) proficiency in Japanese
  • Able to enter Japan by due process of law
  • Have the resources to pay for all living costs during their stay, have a trustful guarantor (parents are ok).
  • Have a reliable guarantor (Applicant’s parents can apply)

*There may be some exceptions according to the individual situation of the applicant.
